Developing reading
Ar gael yn Saesneg yn unig ar hyn o brydA high proportion of pupils enter Willows with reading skills well below what would be expected for their age. As a result, the school has made a determined effort to establish a strong reading culture and exploit all opportunities to develop pupils’ reading skills. Staff model positive reading habits effectively and make regular use of helpful reading sessions to enhance pupils’ skills.
