‘One community, one school, improving attendance’

Family engagement is a notable strength across the school. Staff build highly effective partnerships with parents, carers and the local community, helping them to support their children’s learning and understand the importance of good attendance. Events such as regular Celebration of Learning sessions allow parents to take part in activities alongside their children. Staff provide sensitive, individualised support for families, ensuring learning is accessible to all. As a result of this strong work, families engage well with the school and pupils’ attendance continues to improve.
