Attendance

The school’s work to improve pupils’ attendance is particularly successful. Leaders promote the importance of good attendance well. They use rewards for pupils with high attendance strategically and meet regularly with pupils to ensure their views inform how the reward system for attendance works. Leaders analyse closely the attendance rates for groups of pupils, year groups and individuals. Rates of attendance, including those for pupils eligible for free school meals, have improved over the last two years by more than the national average.
